Not really bad tbh for an old game. Not bad for an old but i wish it had a bit more of story that it has and the game is a bit rushed but really enjoyable to play!
Pretty good, worth a try!. Stranglehold is quite fun, reminds me of max payne a lot! I played on hard and while i enjoyed the gameplay some fights after the middle point tend to drag on a bit more than they need to. All and all pretty fun but for me it overstayed its welcome by an hour maybe! Still now i want to check if there are other games by John Woo!
Forgotten gem. I'm playing this in 2026, and holy crap is it fun :) The Polish edition also includes one of the most popular lecturers who read lines in VHS movies, so when you turn his audio on, and include VHS shaders, this plays like an 80s action movie. Awesome stuff :) Too bad this game didn't sell that well when it first came out, it got passed over as one of many Max Payne clones. Big mistake, Max Payne ain't got s*it on this, at least when it comes to balls-to-the-wall carnage and environmental destruction. Badass seal on approval from me! :D
