Very well done for an indie title. Like the game description states, you can feel in the game the inspiration from Homeworld and C&C. Resource gathering and management is simplified to allow you to focus on what matters. . . FLEET BATTLES! The ship renderings were well thought out and I liked the unique designs. I do question how some of the ship frames are categorized, or would have used different descriptions for them, but that's more of an aesthetics thing. I do like how certain frames have innate abilities that sets them apart from others, but wished for more granular configurations for carriers. There are plenty of weapons and modules to collect and use, ensuring enough variety to suit different playstyles. There is a definite learning curve for new RTS players to get into the game, but should be a no brainer for Homeworld veterans. The fairly large 3D environ allow for greater flex…
Shameful cash grab.. Where to start? My jaw was dropped (in a bad way) the entire 24 minutes I played this game. This game is genuinely shocking. For starters there is no V-Sync screen tearing is abundant in a game from 2021...yikes. On top of this there are hardly any video settings at all, resolution settings don't seem to work either. The game advertises over 200 ships...yet it seems you can only use 10 of them at a time. Despite being the GOG version the games hidious UI has an option to 'delete Steam data'...this isn't Steam. Ok. Alot of the ships don't have noise when firing. At all. Music is minimal. Much if not all the 'voice acting' is A.I. which I mean...I don't even think that should be allowed. Early Access in 2026????. How is this developer charging $20 for a game that has been in "EARLY ACCESS" since August of 2021!?!? I grabbed it and, deleted the game in less than 2 hours. This game is not just "not good", it down right sucks! I was hoping for something similar to Warship Gunner2 when the dev mentioned customizable ships...instead, we got Temu "Earth 2150"...for shame developer! Also, stop asking for money, we all know you are NOT using any money to develop anything with the game as, the cash is only trickling in and, I am pretty confident that you are only using the random donations to pay personal bills at this point. This is one game GOG should either remove or, force the dev to stop charging and, make it free to play for X hours, get feedback and, after the trial, we either keep it and pay or, remove it from our PC.
Still much to do. Fighting waves on small maps is the wrong concept, because it become boring almost immediately. There is the story motivation missing and better maps and missions. Just my opinion.
