Your immune system can't fend off anything thrown at it. Night time is dark, far darker than whatever you just pictured; like Doom 3 dark. You. Will. DIE.... peace and harmony.... with your death. So, I suspect the makers were trying to do some hippy stuff, but I only want a flamethrower now. If Earth didn't want to lose, it shouldn't have made apex predators that could kill it. Anyway…
Stopped short. This game seems to be a mishmash of wildly different and incompatble ideas forcefully mashed together by some rushed, overworked and not very experienced developers. Ok, the basic idea of you getting "stranded" on an island is nothing to write home about. But it can be done. CAN. This game doesn't. Instead of focussing their efforts on the actual environment, even though that's supposed to be the main selling point, the developers seemingly spent a lot of time inventing some meditation functionality. Wow! Seriously? Yikes. As others mentioned before, the day-night cycle is messed up, it's far too short and annoying. A good sign of the developers running out of ideas (or time, or both) and therefore cheaply creating needless artificial pressure on the player. Always a bad sign. hideous grind with pros. I really want to like Retreat to Enen, but I cant. I like the concept of a less 'monster took over' concept like The Forest, but Retreat to Enen simply lacks too much of everything and is way too much of total unnecessary grind. Yeah, buildings looks nice on youtube, but ppl just use all-item cheat. Without creative mode (why for gods sake just don't add this in the menu) third party cheat enginge is the only way to circument the MASSIVE and hideous grind. You need tons of stuff, have too less inventory space and can't move once placed items. Misplaced a wall? Too bad, 10 minutes grind. Put the chest too far to the right? 15 minutes grind. On top of that, you can't place stuff where you want to or just when clicking the game pops it up somewhere else. Some elements are so big, you can't see where important parts are, like the door of the farming dome. Whoops, doo…
Love This, but needs some work. I love this game and enjoy the peacfulness of it but it needs some work. The cost for building survival things needs to be considerably lower especially when your first starting out, the health bars are too fast to drop I think for how much materials cost. I understand the reason for pathagens but might I suggest more of the pathagen flowers near abundant resources. also, there are abundant resources but the cost of them and the health bars not properly regemented makes this game nearly unplayable.
