A wonderful planet. Here, the sand, water, creatures are all based on the physic engine, and it is working just fine. But the most important, and pleasant in this little journey, is the sens of authentic life, there is a lot of effort in the ecosystem, the original creature behavior / design, and the world. Treat yourself : give you a nice trip.
Part puzzle game, part interactive art. This game really draws attention to its great visuals and music. The landscapes look beautiful, the paper animals look pretty imaginative, all sorts of animals from "dogs" to turtles and elephants, the visual effects of weather and all kinds of events look very impressive. Paper animals also apparently like to listen to Japanese punk rock music. All very enjoyable to observe and listen to. For the audio and visuals alone it's in my opinion worth it, especially when the game is discounted. But it's not exactly a walking simulator. You have to solve puzzles that usually involve game physics or paper animal behaviour. Either it's luring the animals somewhere, trying to prevent animals from eating other animals, or manipulating the environment to create paths for the animals or for yourself. Amazing world. It’s less of a game and more of an interactive adventure. It has a great atmosphere. Despite its «paperish» nature, the world feels alive. I especially liked the sound design. The only downside is that some cut scenes drag on too long. The game installed successfully and runs without any issues in Wine, but don't take screenshots - the controls stop working and you have to delete the “unity” folder.
Surreal Experience. Takes time, not a fast expereince. I feel like I'm in a Dali painting sometimes. What you need to do next is not obvious. Takes thought, but is not frustrating or over-complicated. I love it.
