Upgradelike. 80% of the game is locked until you grind enough. There's very heavy meta-progression in the game and you get much bigger power increase from it than from playing well, playing fast(timed chests), or collecting everything. Let's take damage for example. You might find 5 damage upgrades over the course of a run, each of them giving you +5% damage increase. That adds up to +25%. But the meta-progression tree has two +10% damage increases, then three +10%, then five +10%. So if you're patient, you'll rack up +100%. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. You can get some satisfaction by beating the game without ever unlocking anything, but you'll be playing without most of the things the game has, like classes, grenades, dimensional rifts, new unlockable skills. So the game has a *reverse* difficulty curve. It becomes easier and easier each time you die. For someone who enjoys…
A very pleasant surprise.. This game was sitting on my wishlist for a lot of time, so I decided to pick it up and I was glad I did. It is surprisingly fun, given the simple premise of the game. The roguelite elements are there but not that pronounced as maybe fans of the genre might like. Also, in terms of a story - there is barely one, short intro maybe to justify having enemies to shoot at. Having said that, I haven't had this much fun in a game for months. So if you are someone who is wondering whether to buy it, I consider it to be worth the purchase and I am confident you will not regret getting it.

Le petit jeu super dynamique. Très sympa, nerveux et super dynamique et les parties s'enchainent en boucle. Graphismes 3D pixels très cools, armes et capacités variées et bien satisfaisantes. Le bémol c'est plusieurs éléments qui manquent de polish et donnent un effet petit budget au jeu : - des oublis de trad pour certains objets parfois, - pas de possibilité de tirer en marchant en arrière, - parfois passer à l'étages change de mécanique (prendre un ascenseur, passer un tunnel, escalader) et ça casse le flow inutilement qui est autrement super bon. - arbre de compétence des armes laborieux inutilement Bref, le jeu quand il fait les choses bien est excellent mais parfois trébuche par un manque de polish et abime son flow si agréable autrement. Sans ces soucis on passait direct au chef d'oeuvre. Donc ça reste une bonne recommandation, encore plus à petit prix.
