Unlike anything I've ever played. This game challenged my expectations in so many wonderful ways I never imagined. Onde asks important existential questions like "What if the sun turned into a spaceship and I drove it into a black hole?" and "are 600 circles the most beautiful thing I've every seen?" I finished this game with a new perspective on life and at least 3 new voices in my head.
Stuck at the end. Bad performance. I got stuck at the end where you collect three swimming things and and the hammer shark launches you up the sphere above, but my game glitched and i fell back down, causing me to be stuck there forever. Performance issue is kinda 'standard' in nowadays games. My computer is not very powerful, it's indeed a low-end device, but I can run Crysis at 50fps, Ori and Will of the Wisp at 60fps consistently. But this game? In some scenes, the fps drops down to 20-30, and it is COMPLETELY 2D, NO PHYSICS, just textures, sprites, and effects. Another aspect people may not notice is its size. 7.5 GiB is not a big deal in 2026, but it's unacceptable considering this game's content/visual. Relaxing puzzle game. Although some parts need good planning or reactions, most of the experience feels relaxing, meditative and a bit surreal. Very nice!
Stunning. A criminally overlooked beauty of a game. No gaming experience has made me GOL (gasp out loud) as much as Onde. It's not perfect -- some parts rely a little too much on trial and error, and it's not always clear which objects can be interacted with -- but the moments of pure joy more than make up for it. Play this game!
