Decent racing on extremely boring maps. Disclaimer: this is a review from what I remember about the game when it was brand new. I fell in love with the first game. Having read some positive review of the sequel I rushed to a game store to get it and, boy, was it disappointing. The racing mechanics were OK, perhaps even improved. The maps, however, were so boring that even with an untrained eye of a teenager I could see that it was generated from a handful of assets that keep repeating even within the same map - a far cry from what you could see in the original. The original had great music (as CD audio). The sequel had some very generic and forgettable tracks. I raced through a handful of levels and uninstalled the game as soon as I ran out of hard disk space to install something better.
Best of the series. Moto Racer 3 is the most fun of the series
