Manifestement Surprennent !!!. J'ai acheter Mainframe Defenders, uniquement car il y avais une version pour Linux et à un prix dérisoire. Mais les graphismes en grossier pixel ne mon pas donné envie d'y jouer et le jeu est rester abandonné sur l’étager de ma bibliothèque GOG. A l’annonce d'un nouveau jeu de "Synthetic Domain" graphiquement plus travaillé... J'ai trouvé la motivation de tester Mainframe Defenders, juste pour jouer une heure et savoir si la version Linux fonctionné bien, alors oui le jeu fonctionne bien mais il est surtout tellement addictif... Mainframe Defenders est un excellent jeu de stratégie avec une petit histoire qui donne une vrais fin plaines de sentiment de puissance quand vous y arrivé, mais surtout à chaque fin de mission ont veut continué, juste une parti supplémentaire pour débloqué une meilleur arme ou avoir suffisamment pour acheter une amélioration, et on…
Great Little Tactics Game. While there isn't a whole lot to this game, with the only replay value there is being attempting to beat the game with different teams and on higher difficulties, what's here is well done and polished. As far as the mechanics go it doesn't do anything too overly complicated, but there's still plenty of depth. You can equip up to 4 items on each of your mechs and they can range from weapons, to stat buffs, to adding special effects to the mech or other items it has equipped, and much more. The core appeal of the game is trying to make do with what you have available in the shop between missions or gain as mission rewards and set up powerful combos, and it does it well with a solid variety of items. Best balance in a turn based game. Not flawless, as the missions are a bit repetitive, but there's very few games where the balance is as carefully thought as this one. There are many equips to choose from, and almost everything can be comboed to a great effect (unless it's resisted), but it's 4 choices always (4 robots with 4 slots each + 4 team equip). The freedom this gives is great, while keeping the game simple to play. Totally worth the price.
