Too many lags on Windows 11 Home 64-bit. The game is working fine but there’s graphic issues and lags, that make the gameplay experience unplayable. Fix this!
Not recommended. This was an awful game experience. This game is an action-adventure where you need to do everything in specific order, and the challenge is learning this order by trial and error and dying a lot. You need to constantly backtrack in search of the next correct step because doing something in one place enables another action in another place that was simply not shown before, making you constantly run around in circles. If you decide to play, follow a guide from the start, because you may even not know that you can do some certain actions. It took me a while to find the controls and learn what I can do. The key mapping is quite unconventional and also inconvenient. The control of the character is tank-like and difficult to handle, so half of your attention is spent wrangling them rather than focusing on the gameplay. Fun, if a little clunky. I remember playing this back when it first came out - and even contacted the team to say how much I enjoyed it. Second time around, 26 years later and I remember nothing! It took me about 10 hours to play through and I enjoyed it. Like: - Locations were lovely, always surprising - Story was great - "puzzles" weren't too taxing - Barely used a walkthrough - Being able to use the REMORA to see guards was a blessing - It was the right length and kept me interested all the way through Dislike: - Controls are unforgiving, especially when time is limited - The cutscenes in the GOG version are a 10 fps pixelated mess Conclusion: Fun, if you don't mind clunky controls
