so far its good. gets the right vibes in a search for a papermario like game, but it has its own identity and i fun and charming high reccomend if you want that type of experience great game to relax with and still have a some challenge in platforming and combat
The student has surpassed the teacher. This game is most famous for being heavily inspired by the early Paper Mario titles for N64 and GGN. With that being the case, some might assume that it would just be a pale copy with only dancing bear appeal... But fortunately it not only lives up to inspiration, but actually surpasses it. Its orginal setting, characters, and plot are all exquisitely well written. Not being tied to an existing franchise didn't hurt it in the slightest as they used their full creative freedom to its full potential. The biggest difference from its inspiration is that the partner-swapping system was replaced with a more conventional fixed JRPG party with 3 characters. In exchange the party members get much more character development throughout the game and get much broader movesets as well. Panamanian Indie Game. The first Panamanian game I've ever played. Panama must be a good country because it's such a sweet little title. Well maybe not so little. It has a handsome amount of content despite an indie game. It also runs well on my potato pc. I haven't beat the game yet, but GoG keeps asking me to share my rate. I'd say it's five stars so far. I like the characters, art, music, and the general vibes of it all. Hoping the story ends well.
