Obnoxiously difficult. I hope you like floaty controls and walls, floor and ceilings that cause instant death when you touch off them, because if not you'll hate this game. They developers seem to have put a fair amount of effort into it, it's got character and some interest to the mechanics, I just found the pixel-perfect maneuvering to be a deal-breaker.

There are many pros like smart level design, nice graphics and music, precise control, sense of humor and the options how to set up the game to be enjoyable for almost everyone. I do not see many cons here, maybe the difficulty sometimes, the absence of some living enemy creatures or the the local multiplayer. Blackhole is suitable for kids and might develop their motoric abilities and logical thinking. Pros: - sense of humor - level design - graphics - story - control - game options Cons: - difficulty - lack of enemies - no multiplayer I am giving Blackhole Thumbs Up and VideoGaming Father's Index 8 out of 10.
Blackhole is amazing. 11 years later and I still love this game
Nice idea ruined by imprecise controls. I am a hardcore gamer, and I rarely leave games unfinished, but Blackhole, in spite of all of its positives, is a game I don't intend to return to. It's an arcade puzzle platformer where you need to fix a ship but that crashed-landed in a black hole (there's an inner logic explanation of it in the game). You have to collect a special substance, which - what a nice coincidence - also contains some nanobots that will help you fix the ship. Getting the substance requires solving a puzzle (figuring out how to get it, mostly using gravity-changing walls) and precise execution. I can't really tell you more, as I'm leaving the game after 11 out of its 90+ levels.
