finally played. Finally played this game, not bad single player story is so so, so far. The skirmishes are pretty good.
It's broken. It's broke, can't load at all.
Boring and shallow. The title of this review pretty much summs it up. This game doesn't even allow you to customize your hotkeys. I only paid about $3 for it, so I won't bother returning it. That may be as much as it is worth.
It can be fun.... The game can be fun, amassing huge armies and dreadnaughts, etc... The constant take and hold while is true to many RTS doesn’t feel the same and is forced. The game while 64bit and SMS aware still crashes…you get a couple hours into an epic game and ERROR….after this happens a few times I lose all interest…its frustrating, get close to the climax of the game and the game crashes…I’m sorta done with Ashes and hope, truly that Ashes 2 will rise it to a true RTS…if not I’m done with Stardock and their half hearted attempts…Game play is one thing, stability for a multi hour session is a must. This game fails at stability and core RTS mechanics.
