A flawed port... but a nostalgic dream!. First of all, the positive rating is because the game itself is currently unavailable in my country (Mexico). On eBay, the PS1 version goes for around $17 (without shipping), whereas I managed to get it on GOG for just $2 on sale. Because of this, I always applaud the accessibility of classic titles, especially a collectathon gem like this one. Sure, I could jump on the bandwagon and say it’s a terrible port, that the emulator is bad, and so on... But that’s a GOG, Piko Interactive LLC, and Bleem! issue, not a flaw of the game itself—and to me, the game itself is what matters most. It is worth mentioning that if you use the DuckStation emulator, you can simply take the .bin and .cue files, run them there, and save yourself all the trouble. USE EMULATOR, its good!!. So at first i bought this game,and i didnt like it.Moreover during that time i had this weird rule I made to myself which was never use the gog refund policy (i later broke that one). Anyways my first impression of this game was trash. Well, it actually is, if you play it the same way it is presented to you. The screen is small with the weird background, the buttons are badly binded, and no vibration if your using a dualshock controller like i do. BUT, if you download an open source emulator like a Duckstation in my case all those problems can be surpassed and your saves are much more flexible through the app. Im actually 5 winks in and finally able to enjoy a game the I bought a couple of years ago. Im actually glad i didnt ask for the refund on this 1. Give this game a chance it could be fun, the controls are abit heavy but its worth it for me.
Es la versión de psx. Es el juego original de psx emulado en PC. Va bien detecta los mandos sin problema solo que algunos botones vienen mal mapeados. Pero se puede corregir desde el menu del emulador. Lo estoy jugando en steam deck y aún ahí detecto el mando sin problema. Trae un filtro de tv el cual no está bien logrado pero al desactivarlo se ve muy bien. En cuanto al juego es muy divertido es un plataforma tradicional y al día de hoy se juega muy bien no se siente tan tosco salvó algunos momentos en específico.
